BCFHD’s New Administrative Board Holds Its First Meeting Following General Assembly Elections.

The Administrative Board of the Benaa Charity Foundation for Humanitarian Development (BCFHD) held its first meeting for the year 2025, following the recent changes approved during BCFHD’s 8th General Assembly session. The session resulted in renewed confidence in the current leadership and the addition of new members to the board.

The meeting, chaired by BCFHD President Dr. Abdulkarim Shamsan, welcomed the newly elected members and reviewed key priorities for the upcoming phase, focusing on BCFHD’s humanitarian and development agenda for the new year.

In his remarks, Dr. Shamsan emphasized the importance of the coming phase, which requires teamwork and leveraging new capacities, stressing the need to build on past achievements and reinforce governance and transparency within BCFHD’s operations.

The meeting also addressed several administrative and organizational topics, most notably the review of the mid-year administrative and financial reports, in addition to exploring opportunities to expand partnerships and strengthen collaboration with donors.

This meeting comes as part of BCFHD’s ongoing efforts to maintain its leadership role in humanitarian and development work, while enhancing its institutional performance to meet local community needs with efficiency and impact.
