Dr. Abdulkarim Shamsan, Chairman of Bena Charity for Human Development (BCFHD), received today the Country Director of War Child in Yemen, Mr. Arif Jabbar Khan, and his accompanying delegation at BCFHD’s headquarters in Taiz Governorate.

During the meeting, Dr. Shamsan welcomed the visiting delegation and expressed his appreciation for War Child’s efforts in supporting humanitarian programs and projects aimed at assisting children affected by conflict. He emphasized the importance of active partnerships between humanitarian organizations to strengthen child protection and improve access to education, psychosocial support, and other essential services.

For his part, Mr. Arif Jabbar Khan expressed his pleasure in visiting Bena Charity and learning about its field activities across various sectors. He praised the foundation’s tangible contributions to improving the lives of children and vulnerable families in Taiz Governorate.

Both sides discussed potential areas of future collaboration between War Child and BCFHD in the fields of child protection, education, and psychosocial support, in order to expand the scope of humanitarian response and achieve sustainable impact within local communities.
