Bena Charity Distributes the Second Batch of Emergency Food Assistance through Unconditional Cash to the Most Vulnerable Families in Al-Qahirah District.

Bena Charity for Human Development (BCFHD) continues the implementation of the project “Enhancing Resilience through the Provision of Lifesaving Assistance Multi-Sectoral (FSAC, WASH, Protection, and CCCM) to Vulnerable IDPs and Host Communities in Al Qahirah, Maqbanah, and Ash Shamayatayn Districts,” funded by the Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF), through distributing the second batch of emergency food assistance via unconditional cash transfers to targeted families in Al-Qahirah District, Taiz Governorate.

This second batch covered 312 families from internally displaced persons (IDPs), host community members, and marginalized groups, in accordance with the Food Security and Agriculture Cluster (FSAC) standards, contributing to meeting their basic food needs and strengthening food security.

The implementation was accompanied by awareness-raising activities for beneficiaries on their rights, project objectives, and the Complaints and Feedback Mechanism (CFM), in addition to distributing informational brochures and complaint cards to ensure transparency and enhance community engagement.

This step reaffirms the Foundation’s commitment to continuing its humanitarian efforts to alleviate the suffering of the most vulnerable families and strengthen their resilience amidst the challenging humanitarian conditions in Taiz Governorate.
