Bena Charity for Human Development (BCFHD) continues the implementation of the project “Enhancing Resilience through the Provision of Lifesaving Assistance Multi-Sectoral (FSAC, WASH, Protection, and CCCM) to Vulnerable IDPs and Host Communities in Al Qahirah, Maqbanah, and Ash Shamayatayn Districts”, funded by Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF), through distributing the third round of emergency food assistance via unconditional cash transfers to targeted families in Al-Qahirah District, Taiz Governorate.
This third round reached 312 families from internally displaced persons (IDPs), host community members, and marginalized groups, in line with the Food Security and Agriculture Cluster (FSAC) standards, contributing to strengthening food security and enabling families to meet their essential food needs.
The distribution was accompanied by awareness-raising activities for beneficiaries regarding their rights, the project objectives, and the Complaints and Feedback Mechanism (CFM). Informational brochures and complaint cards were also provided to ensure transparency and enhance community engagement throughout the intervention.
The implementation of this third round reaffirms BCFHD’s commitment to sustaining its humanitarian efforts aimed at supporting the most vulnerable families, alleviating their suffering, and reinforcing their resilience amidst the challenging humanitarian conditions in Taiz Governorate.
