Bena Charity for Human Development (BCFHD) conducted a specialized training course on safeguarding policies and procedures targeting its staff across various programs and projects. This initiative reflects the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to promoting a safe and accountable working environment that upholds the dignity and rights of both beneficiaries and staff members.
The training was delivered by Mr. Shaif Al-Jabri, who provided comprehensive insights into key safeguarding concepts, principles for protecting beneficiaries from exploitation and abuse, reporting mechanisms, the Code of Conduct, as well as individual and institutional responsibilities in applying safeguarding standards in line with approved policies.
The session witnessed active engagement from participants, who discussed practical case studies and field-related challenges, enhancing their capacity to address safeguarding concerns with professionalism and responsibility.
This training forms part of BCFHD’s continuous efforts to strengthen staff capacity, foster a culture of accountability and transparency, and ensure the delivery of humanitarian and development interventions in accordance with the highest standards of protection and ethical conduct.
