Bena Charity for Human Development (BCFHD) participated in a high-level regional workshop held in Istanbul on 10–11 February 2026, bringing together humanitarian leaders and organizations from across the Middle East and North Africa.

In its capacity as the Education Cluster Lead in Taiz and the West Coast, Bena engaged in discussions addressing the escalating challenges facing humanitarian action, particularly shrinking funding and increasing needs in crisis-affected areas. The workshop also explored more sustainable and equitable financing mechanisms, with particular attention to supporting women-led organizations.

During its participation, Bena emphasized the importance of strengthening international coordination and fostering integrated humanitarian efforts to ensure the continuity of educational support and expand access to the most vulnerable groups, contributing to more inclusive, accountable, and sustainable humanitarian responses.
