Funded by Pure Hands Organization, BCFHD carried out the distribution of 200 school bags with their supplies, in the presence of Faisal Al-Sabri, the education cluster coordinator in south of Taiz, and Muhammad Abdo Hassan, director of the Education Office in Salh District.

Mr. Hassan indicated that such initiatives reflect the spirit of social responsibility towards education, and demonstrate the role of partnership with organizations and their contributions in supporting educational goals.

For his part, Abdel-Alam Aqlan – the education officer in BCFHD – explained that this activity was implemented in coordination with Cluster Education, and targeted 200 displaced and marginalized students from the first to the third grade in two schools in Salh District with school bags and supplies.

He added: Our aim by distributing the school bag is to encourage students to return to school and reduce the financial burdens on the students’ families, in light of the difficult economic conditions they are going through.
