BCFHD Concludes Community Structures Training on Child Protection in Al-Mawaset.

Bena Charity for Human Development (BCFHD) concluded today in Al-Mawaset District, Taiz Governorate, a specialized training program for community structures active in the field of child protection. The training focused on developing child protection risk mapping, as part of the Integrated Response Project addressing nutrition and protection needs in crisis-affected areas, implemented in partnership with Save the Children and funded by Global Affairs Canda-International Humanitarian Assistance.

The training, conducted in each of the targeted districts, engaged 58 participants (male and female) and aimed to strengthen the capacity of community structures to identify risks facing children and to develop effective and appropriate response mechanisms. The initiative contributes to creating a safer environment for children and the most vulnerable groups in affected communities.

This activity forms part of the collective efforts to enhance child protection services in the most affected areas and underscores the pivotal role of local communities in safeguarding children and supporting them amid the ongoing humanitarian challenges.
