BCFHD Concludes Refresher Training for Community Health and Nutrition Volunteers in Al-Mawaset District.

Bena Charity for Human Development (BCFHD) concluded in Al-Mawaset District, Taiz Governorate, a refresher training program targeting 44 Community Health and Nutrition Volunteers. The activity was implemented as part of the Integrated Response Project addressing nutrition and protection needs in crisis-affected areas, implemented in partnership with Save the Children and funded by Global Affairs Canda-International Humanitarian Assistance.

The six-day training, held from September, aimed to equip volunteers with essential knowledge and skills in community health and nutrition, while strengthening their roles in raising health and nutrition awareness among families in targeted communities. The activity seeks to improve health and nutrition indicators, particularly among children and women.

This activity was carried out under the supervision of the Public Health and Population Office, as part of broader efforts to build the capacity of community-based workers and empower them to deliver effective and sustainable health and nutrition services in the targeted districts.
