Bena Charity for Human Development (BCFHD) is participating in the Second World Summit for Social Development, held in Doha, the capital of the State of Qatar, from November 4 to 6, 2025. The summit is organized by the United Nations and hosted by the State of Qatar, with broad participation from heads of state, international and regional organizations, and civil society institutions from around the world.
The Foundation is represented at the summit by Dr. Abdulkarim Shamsan, Chairman of BCFHD, reaffirming its active presence in international forums and its commitment to strengthening its role as a humanitarian and developmental partner contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Yemen.
This participation comes as part of BCFHD’s ongoing efforts to promote dialogue and international cooperation in areas such as poverty reduction, empowerment of vulnerable groups, expansion of social protection networks, and support for education and decent work for all — in line with global aspirations toward achieving social justice and inclusion.
Through its participation, Bena Charity also seeks to exchange expertise and build strategic partnerships with international organizations, donors, and development institutions to enhance the quality of life in affected communities and strengthen sustainable humanitarian response efforts in Yemen.
BCFHD affirms that its participation in this summit marks an important step toward expanding its institutional presence at the regional and international levels and embodies its mission of Building the Present and Shaping the Future through impactful humanitarian action and comprehensive community development.
