Bena Charity for Human Development (BCFHD), in partnership with Oxfam and with funding from the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), distributed beekeeping supplies and equipment to 17 beekeepers in Al-Ma’afer District, Taiz Governorate, on Monday.

The distribution was implemented under the activity “Promoting the Transition to Modern Beekeeping and Honey Production Practices,” which aims to support beekeepers in adopting modern practices, increasing honey productivity and quality, expanding market opportunities, and ultimately improving income sources and strengthening livelihoods.

Al-Anboh Association for Coffee, Honey, and Vegetable Producers is participating as a partner in delivering training activities and supporting beneficiaries in transitioning from traditional beekeeping practices to the use of modern beehives. This partnership contributes to strengthening beneficiaries’ technical capacities and promoting more efficient and sustainable beekeeping and honey production practices.

Representatives from Oxfam, alongside the BCFHD and Al-Anboh Association teams, attended the distribution, reflecting the ongoing partnership and coordination to support beekeepers, strengthen their productive capacities, and improve their livelihoods.
