Bena Charity for Human Development (BCFHD) participated in the Annual Review Workshop for the year 2025 and the prioritization of the health and nutrition sectors for 2026. The workshop was organized by the Taiz Governorate Office of Public Health and Population, in partnership with the Health and Nutrition Clusters, with support from Save the Children International, and attended by the Humanitarian Affairs Coordinator in Taiz Governorate, Santos Izeko.
The workshop was held against the backdrop of the accumulating health challenges facing Taiz Governorate. Participants from the Governorate Health Office, district health offices, and the coordinators of the Health and Nutrition Clusters discussed the key challenges and needs confronting the health system, as well as ways to strengthen health and nutrition responses in the upcoming phase.
Bena Charity’s participation comes as part of its continued commitment to the health and nutrition sectors and its keenness to contribute to identifying priorities and gaining insight into the realities and needs of the health sector in the governorate. This engagement aims to enhance coordination and open broader horizons for future cooperation and partnerships in service of the most vulnerable groups.
