Bena Charity for Human Development (BCFHD) welcomed this morning Mr. Saeed Saif, Head of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Office in Taiz and Women Protection Cluster Coordinator, during a field visit to BCFHD’s headquarters and the Community Center for Women and Children.
He was received by Mr. Fouad Abduldaem, Vice President of BCFHD; Mr. Tawfiq Abdulkhabeer, Secretary General; Dr. Riyadh Salam, Programs Manager; along with several members of BCFHD’s staff.
The visit began with a meeting with BCFHD’s leadership, during which Mr. Saeed Saif received an overview of BCFHD’s journey, humanitarian and development projects, programs, and activities, as well as its key interventions across various sectors and its ongoing efforts to serve local communities and maximize humanitarian and development impact.
Following the meeting, Mr. Saeed Saif toured BCFHD’s offices and the Community Center for Women and Children, where he was briefed on the center’s operations, services, and activities, and learned about BCFHD’s efforts to support women and children while strengthening protection and humanitarian response programs.
The visit comes as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen coordination and collaboration with partners and to gain insight into the experience of Bena Charity for Human Development (BCFHD) in implementing humanitarian and development initiatives that contribute to improving the quality and sustainability of interventions for vulnerable communities.
