Bena Charity for Human Development (BCFHD) launched the distribution of unconditional cash assistance to 248 vulnerable households in Al Mokha District as part of the project “Enhancing Food Security through Life-Saving Emergency Assistance for Vulnerable IDPs, Host Communities, and Returnees in Mawza and Al Makha Districts, Taiz Governorate” (Project No. 37740), funded by the Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF).

The assistance targets vulnerable households in the Al Shadhiliyah and Al Al-Ashirah areas of Al Mokha District, Taiz Governorate, providing critical support to help address their immediate food security needs.

The launch event was attended by the Acting Director of Al Mokha District, Sheikh Ahmed Abbas; the Director’s Office Manager, Sultan Al Sharaji; and the Deputy Director of the Organizations Affairs Office in the West Coast, Mr. Moataz Al Faqih.

During the event, the Acting Director of Al Mokha District expressed his appreciation to BCFHD and YHF for their timely support, highlighting the important role of the assistance in improving food security and reducing the challenges faced by vulnerable households in the targeted areas.
