BCFHD Conducts Organizational Self-Assessment Workshop on World Humanitarian Day.

Coinciding with World Humanitarian Day, Bena Charity for Human Development (BCFHD) conducted a workshop for its staff on Organizational Capacity Self-Assessment and Action Planning, as part of the BALADI Project, using the Taking the Lead (TTL) methodology.

The workshop aimed to strengthen shared institutional reflection, assess the organization’s overall performance and capacities, identify key strengths and gaps, and establish clear priorities for capacity development and improved humanitarian and organizational performance.

The sessions covered key topics, including an introduction to the BALADI Project and the TTL initiative, the self-assessment process, the organizational capacity framework, defining the organization’s role in humanitarian action, identifying priority areas for further assessment, and planning for organizational capacity development.

The workshop reflects BCFHD’s commitment to investing in its staff and strengthening its institutional capacities to enhance the quality, effectiveness, and sustainability of its humanitarian work, while promoting continuous learning and organizational development.
