BCFHD distributes emergency shelter aid to families affected by floods in Al-Ma’afir District.

Bena Charity for Humanitarian Development (BCFHD) has implemented an emergency Non-Food Items (NFI) assistance distribution activity for 250 families affected by the floods that hit IDP camps in Al-Ma’afir District, Taiz Governorate. This activity falls under the project, “Little Hands, Big Dreams: Empowering out-of-school children and children at risk of dropping out through formal and non-formal education, child protection, and psychosocial support services in five districts of Taiz Governorate, Yemen,” implemented in partnership with War Child, funded by the European Union for Humanitarian Aid, and coordinated with the IDP Executive Unit.

This intervention is part of the project’s efforts to respond to the humanitarian needs of the most vulnerable groups, enhance protection, and support the stability of affected families. This contributes to creating safer conditions for children and enabling them to continue their education.
